In a mere 90 minutes, Karen Valencic, entertained, engaged, and taught us how to collaborate and influence.  For City Planners these are essential skills.  The way she demonstrates her skills physically is very impactful and makes her points easy to grasp.  She left us with tools to apply. The American Planning Board, Indiana, hired her twice, once to help our large board of directors make a difficult transition, a second time to keynote our statewide conference.  I highly recommend her for an enlivening and practical experience.     Shane B.  Chapter President

I wanted to express to you kudos for an excellent seminar. Within the first hour, the ladies were sitting upright, engaged, with hopeful, helpful, and empowered interactions.  The presenter had effective illustrations right from her unique entrance to her first illustration with the hammer and nail vs. the screw driver and screw.  The way she showed an activity with an audience member and then asked the audience to participate in the same activity in a small group was effective.  It was so much easier to understand and reinforce the learning when we saw rather than were told after which we did.  She also sent us home with tools to help reinforce the communication approach we learned.

Bottom line, this was an empowering, self-centering, I’m responsible for my own success and for our firm’s success, thought provoking seminar.  Donna K., CPA/PFS| Tax Director

Great Rivers Regional United Way Conference
“Your keynote presentation roused a room full of people in just the right ways after a very full week of learning, and early on a Friday morning. We so appreciate your light yet upbeat style and the hands-on ways that you illustrated your points. United Ways today are deeply engaged in many partner relationships and practicing new relationship-building skills. The principles, concise process and examples you covered were easily applied to our work. And, the personal practice will help to keep the concepts in our memory banks for a long time to come. Thank you! Roger F.
